Youth Group Back to School Party
The youth will have a “back to school” party at the Quemahoning Family Recreation Area from 5 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday, August 21st. (This will be in place of their normal youth group meeting.). While there, they will enjoy food, games, swimming, and kayaking
on the lake.
Backpack Blessing
On Sunday, August 24th, we will have a “Backpack Blessing” where we will pray over the students and their backpacks during our 10 am Worship Service. That afternoon the children (grades K – 5) will enjoy mini golf at Jake’s Mini Golf and ice cream at Molly’s Ice Cream.
First Step – For Newcomers
If you have just started coming to the church within the last year, we are hosting a free pizza & salad dinner just for you on Sunday, August 31st beginning at 5pm. You’ll be able to meet other newcomers, have fun, fellowship and participate in a question-and-answer time about the church. Please sign up at the information station.
Adult Bell Choir
Anyone that would be interested in playing in the Adult Bell Choir ~
Even if you’ve played before or for any new members, please sign up so we know which bells are covered. We will begin practice on Wednesday, September 3rd beginning at 5:00 pm.

Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will hold their next blood drive on Thursday, September 11th from 12 noon to 6 pm here at FCC. You may register at redcrossblood.org to sign up for an individual time slot. A sign-up sheet is posted at the information station for anyone wishing to volunteer for this great cause.
Youth Volunteer with Somerset County Mobile Food Bank
The Youth will help the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank, located at the Somerset County Education Center at 6024 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA with the distribution of food on Saturday, September 13th from 12:45pm – 2:30pm. We will meet at the church at 12:30 pm. While there the Youth will help the Food Bank Staff distribute boxes of food to those in need.
Youth (grades 6 – 12)
Youth Group: Thursdays from 7pm to 8:30pm at the church
Youth Sunday School: Sundays from 9am to 9:50am in the Youth Room
Cramer Bible Study
Cramer Small Group Bible Study will meet on Thursdays, beginning at 6:00 pm at 130 West Union Street, Somerset, PA.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study is taught by Karen Costea and takes place every Thursday morning at 9am. See the Women’s Ministry page for more details.
