Blood Drive
Our next Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 12pm to 6pm at the church. You may register to give blood at redcrossblood.org and sign up for an individual time slot. A sign-up sheet is posted at the information station for anyone wishing to volunteer for this great cause.
Women’s Painting Party
The Ladies will hold a Painting Party (with Sandy Smith) on Friday, September 13th beginning at 6pm in the church basement. The cost is $15 which is due by September 1st. We must have at least 10 ladies to hold the class. A sign-up sheet has been posted at the information station. The sheet also has sample pictures of the available signs to be made so pick your favorite and put the number next to your name.
Youth Volunteering at the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank
On Saturday, September 14th the youth group will volunteer at the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank’s distribution. Youth should meet at church at 12:15pm. We will carpool to the Somerset County Education Center. The distribution is from 12:30pm to 2pm.
Fall Small Groups
Fall small groups are starting up soon! This year the groups will do a study called 30 Day Journey to Spiritual and Emotional Health. This 5-week course will help you get in a right relationship with God, with others, and receive healing from past hurts. Sign up for one of the following groups at the Information Station:
1. Sundays at 9am (starting September 15th) at church in the Golden Achiever’s classroom
2. Tuesdays at 6pm (starting September 17th) at the Thompson’s House
3. Thursdays at 9am (starting September 19th) at the Women’s Bible Study, locations vary
4. Thursdays at 6pm (starting September 19th) at the Cramer’s House
See You At The Pole
See You At The Pole is a national prayer event in which students meet at their school’s flagpole to pray over their school, teachers, and peers. This year it will take place on Wednesday, September 25th. Our youth group (junior high and high school) will meet at the Somerset High School flag pole at 7:15am. Our elementary school kids will also meet at their school.
Youth (grades 6 – 12)
Youth Group: Thursdays from 7pm to 8:30pm at the church
Youth Sunday School: Sundays from 9am to 9:50am in the Youth Room
Cramer Bible Study
Cramer Small Group Bible Study will meet on Thursdays, beginning at 6:00 pm at 130 West Union Street, Somerset, PA.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study is taught by Karen Costea and takes place every Thursday morning at 9am. See the Women’s Ministry page for more details.
