Youth Sunday School

We meet every Sunday for Sunday School at 9am upstairs in the Youth Room. We have a great time with prayer, Bible study, and games. The class is taught by Jana Williams and we are doing a series called “Ask the Hard Questions.”

Youth Group

We meet every Thursday for Youth Group from 7pm to 8:30pm at the church. We have snacks, games, worship, prayer, and in-depth Bible study. Come join us!

Youth Activities

We have one fun group activity or trip per month and one service project per month. During the school year we volunteer at the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank every other month and we do a service at Meadow View Nursing Home every other month. See a full schedule of our youth activities near the bottom of this page.

Volunteering at the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank Distribution

On Saturday, September 14th the youth group will volunteer at the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank’s distribution. Youth should meet at church at 12:15pm. We will carpool to the Somerset County Education Center. The distribution is from 12:30pm to 2pm.

Curriculum Schedule

A Parent Paper is sent out every week with more details about what we are studying in Youth Sunday School and Youth Group that week. It includes the Bible chapters, main themes, songs, an educational video, and a prompt that gives you something to talk about with your youth. Contact Jana if you would like to receive the Parent Paper.

Summer Devotions 2024

For our daily devotions in the summer, high schoolers and junior highers are given a book to read.

High Schoolers: The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom
“The Hiding Place” is a memoir by Corrie ten Boom, telling the true story of her experiences during World War II. Corrie ten Boom and her family are Christians who lived in Holland when the Germans came and put the country under German occupation. This book explores Corrie and her family’s efforts to hide Jews from the Nazis.
Junior Highers: Little Pilgrims Progress by Helen L. Taylor
There is a very famous book called “The Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan that is an allegory for the Christian life. It shows how being a Christian is a journey filled with trials, temptations, and enemies but also victories, joy, and companions. Helen Taylor has rewritten the story for younger readers and that is how we get the book “Little Pilgrims Progress.”
